The most valued and successful Pharmacy Technician, with Auro Pharmacies, Inc., doing business as Central Drugs, is passionate about Customer Service.  They are self-motivated, forward thinking, and quick on their feet.  They will be able to successfully plan, manage their time, optimize workflow and the Customer experience.  This includes, but is not limited to, and will slightly change based upon location, accurate and timely prescription processing, maintaining inventory, increasing knowledge base for all medications dispensed by Central Drugs, inbound/outbound communications, entering and verifying patient and prescriber information, calling patients regarding the status of their prescriptions, contacting medical offices regarding refill requests, appropriately transferring/directing calls to different departments, composing messages, and providing general information and support to Customers, Pharmacists, and fellow Team Members, which allows the Central Drugs Team to continually ensure one-hundred percent (100%) Customer satisfaction and achieve financial growth.

What You Need To Have / Need To Do-

  • California Pharmacy Technician License, Current Unexpired
  • Six (6) months' Pharmacy experience
  • Understand and embrace what it takes to continuously maintain one-hundred percent (100%) Customer satisfaction
  • Proven ability to handle large call volume and face-to-face interaction, accurately and promptly processing prescriptions while providing excellent Customer Service at all times
  • Effective communication skills (listening, speaking, and written) with professional and pleasant manner, via both telephone and in-person
  • Accurate data entry and general computer skills (Windows, word processing, electronic mail, familiarity with Pharmacy software databases and cash handling/credit card processing)
  • Ability to consistently work a schedule, which includes Monday through Friday, 9:00AM-6:00PM
  • Ability to work in an environment, which requires standing for a significant period of time with simultaneous face-to-face and telephone Customer interaction as well as computer data entry
  • Proven and successful time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated above average ethics, integrity, and honesty
  • Aptitude and willingness for continuous learning, team building, and business development
  • Initiative to proactively and continuously look for ways to help the Pharmacy run at peak efficiency

What Would Increase Your Value (Skills Preferred, Not Required)-

  • One (1) or more years' Pharmacy experience, preferably in a compounding Pharmacy
  • Non-Sterile Compounding experience, including Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT)
  • One (1) year experience with Computer Rx software
  • Familiarity with California Board of Pharmacy and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Audits
